Raceway Park will be holding it's annual open house at Turtles Social Center on Sunday, Jan 8, 2012 from 12:00-4:00 with pizza being served from 12:15pm- 2:15pm. All competitors, crewmembers and fans are welcome. All guests will have the option to purchase RWP/NASCAR memberships, pit slabs, reserve car numbers for the 2012-racing season and be able to buy banquet tickets. Speaking of the banquet, Raceway Parks Championship Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino. Social hour will begin at 6:00 with the banquet starting @7:00. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase the evening of the banquet.
Treasure Island Resort & Casino has a block of rooms reserved for RWP guests until January 9, 2012. You can reserve a room by contacting Treasure Island at 1-800-222-7077. The banquet sold our last year and is limited to the first 295 guests, so get your forms in early. Banquet forms are available on our web-site.
Raceway Park will recognize the top (5) LM, (15) HS, (18) Figure 8s plus 20th, 16) Bombers, (10) ST, (20) MS plus 24th, (3) Legends, (3) Bandeleros, (3) TNL in both 4 & 8 cylinders.
New for the 2012 season, all divisions (excluding Figure 8s) will time trial on the evening of their extended feature events along with on track introductions.
If you have a car currently at RWP and have not filled out a storage form please contact the racing office ASAP as we are scrapping out all unwanted or unknown cars.
